District-level exhibition of scientific experiments
The district-level exhibition of scientific experiments by school students will be held on March 12 and 13 at Mother Teresa Middle School at Puliakulam.According to a release from the District Elementary Education Officer, D.Rajendran, the exhibition of scientific experiments by schoolchildren was organised at various schools in the district on February 28. As many as 413 schools took part and 13,966 experiments were showcased.More than 17,000 students participated.More than 30,000 people visited the exhibition.The same was organised as part of the National Science Day celebrations too.A similar exhibition was held for the schools at the Panchayat Union level on March 3. As many as 2,872 experiments were showcased and 14,440 students participated. More than 17,312 people visited the expo.
The District Elementary Education officer will visit the district-level expo.Chief Educational Officer S. Karmegam will deliver the Chief Guest’s address. Director of Elementary Education P.C. Rameshwara Murugan will also visit the expo.The prize distribution will be held on the valedictory day. Corporation Education Officer and District Education Officers of Coimbatore, Tirupur, Pollachi will take part.
