Abdual Kalam In Coimbatore
Former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, will inaugurate the Coimbatore chapter of the Indian Science Congress Association at Kongunadu Arts and Science College on May 3 at 11 a.m. According to a press release from the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), the concept of forming a Coimbatore chapter was mooted by M. Aruchami, executive committee member of ISCA. He had already enrolled over 500 members drawn from academic and research institutions in the Coimbatore region.A.P.J. The Coimbatore chapter would connect the scientific community in the colleges and universities in the city with those in other parts of the country and abroad.It would also organise scientific meetings regularly, the release added.
