Free Audio Cassettes To Visually Impaired Students
UDIS Forum, a network facilitating employment of persons with disabilities, along with the Association for Rights of the Visually Challenged (ARVIC) will provide free audio cassettes to visually impaired students pursuing courses at institutions for higher education in Tamil Nadu. Braille books for higher education courses are not available and visually impaired students usually have to depend on audio materials, says V.Srinivasan, president of ARVIC.The cassettes have been made ready and 140 visually impaired students studying in colleges in Tamil Nadu would be given 50 audio cassettes each through the ARVIC
