No Tring Tring From BSNL Phone
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) subscribers having landline connections in Kovai Thirunagar and Kurinji Nagar are suffering for the last one month. Their phones went dead in the first week of March and they are yet to be repaired. Most of them have broadband facility. The colonies are situated on Kalapatti Road and are served by the exchange having the level 262.Their phones went dead in the first week of March
BSNL authorities say earth movers pressed into service for widening Avanashi Road have damaged the underground telephone cables. This has affected 100 phone lines. Secretary of the Resident’s Welfare Association Raj said that even after nearly four weeks there had not been even an attempt to restore phone lines. Some of the residents were thinking of surrendering the phones.
