Catalyze Launched Coimbatore Operations

Catalyze Centre for Learning, an organisation that offers online coaching for students, has launched its operations in Coimbatore. Students from Classes VIII to Plus Two in the CBSE and State Board can take specialised coaching in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science and Biology.
The student would get personalised attention through the online coaching system and could avoid the trouble of going to tutorials before or after class hours, said Mangai Krishnaswamy, founder of the organisation. They could also learn from the comforts of their home. “Almost all school going children are well versed in technology, especially the Internet. If they could utilise the medium for taking classes, it would help them improve their productivity in school,” she added.

Students who had a broadband connection at home could register with the centre. They would be given a login ID and password. Each student would have a dashboard on which, the academic progress would be recorded. The tutors would leave comments on it regarding the student’s performance. The parents too would have access to the dashboard, so that they could keep track of the child’s progress. The organisation was also planning to tie up with an online payment website for collecting fees. The organisation can be contacted at 94870-27880.
