Rally On Environmental Awareness
The People for Animals, Coimbatore, Unit II, will organise a rally on environmental awareness on June 5, World Environment Day. The rally, which will be flagged off by Vice Chancellor of Bharathiar University, G.Thiruvasagam, will start from the university at 7 a.m. and culminate at C.M.S.School, Ganapathy, where a short-film on environmental conservation and animal welfare will be screened for the students.
Kalpana Vasudevan, Managing Trustee of PFA, Unit II, said about 30 college students and members from the PFA would take part. The film would include messages of environmental conservation and protection of rights of animals.
