Resvervation For Ex-servicemen
The State Government has reserved some seats in medicine and dental medicine for wards of ex-servicemen in the State. According to a release from the Assistant Director, Ex-Servicemen Welfare Board, Coimbatore, the Government has extended this reservation to wards of war widows, those who have died in service, and also decorated ex-servicemen.
Interested ex-servicemen can approach the Welfare Board for applications. They should produce the following documents at the time of issue of applications: family card, the ex-servicemen’s original discharge certificate and identity card, the ward’s school transfer certificate, mark sheet and community certificate, the release adds.
