The Civil Supplies CID police personnel and the EIPR (Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights) conducted raids at two places and seized 1,055 litres of duplicate Servo Engine Oil of IOCL company. According to a release, raid was conducted at an oil trading firm in Chenni Amman Complex, Palladam, and arrested the shop owner Ramasamy (55) after he was found in possession of duplicate oil. Similarly, raid was conducted at another oil outlet on Palladam Road near Veerapandi close to Tirupur in Coimbatore district and owner of the shop Arun Karthik (25) was arrested.
