Love Makes Girl As Mad
The Coimbatore Rural Police on Sunday arrested a 17-year old girl Nila in connection with the death of her grandmother Kamakshi Ammal (82) at Oratukuppai near Podanur recently.Kamakshi Ammal who was living alone was found dead under suspicious circumstances in her locked house last week and the jewels on her person were missing.
Kamakshi Ammal had two sons Balakrishnan and Rajagopal. Rajagopal died recently in a road accident and was survived by his daughter Nila. Investigations revealed that Nila had murdered her grandmother for the sake of jewels. It was later learnt that Nila required money for taking her boy-friend Krishnakumar on bail who was arrested by the police recently in connection with the theft of motor cycles.
