Training Prog At ITI
Short-term training programmes will be held at the Government Industrial Training Institute free of cost for the unemployed. A release from the institute said those who have studied up to class V and aged between 14 and 40 and are unemployed could participate. At the end of the training they would get a certificate from the Government. Campus recruitment programmes and facilitation for loan for those who want to start their own units would also be organised.
The training would be held in the evening. Some of the areas identified for training were: basic automotive service, welding, computer fundamentals, house wiring, basic electrical works, refrigerator and air conditioner service, turning, milling and desk top publishing.
