All India Painting Competition
Vijay Informations, a fine art academy, Hyderabad, will organise the 14th all-India painting competition for school students.The first prize winners will be awarded gold medals and all participants will be given merit certificates. The competition will be held in three categories- sub-juniors (Classes I to V), juniors (Classes VI to VIII) and seniors (Classes IX to XII). The entry fee for the contest is Rs.50. Each participant can send up to five paintings for the competition. They can choose their own theme and medium (water colour/pencil/crayon/poster colour). Details such as name, age, gender, class, title of the painting, and address of school or home should be furnished.
Students from Classes I to XII should send in their paintings to K.Sunder Kumar, Secretary, Vijay Informations, fine Art Academy, H.No.21-106/5, Syndicate bank Colony, Sharada Nagar, P and T Colony (GAD), Hyderabad 500-060. Phone: 040-24143074. The last date for receipt of entries is October 11. Demand draft should be drawn in favour of K.Sunder Kumar, payable in Hyderabad.
