Aqua Regia Science Quiz
The preliminary rounds of T.I.M.E Aqua Regia Science Quiz began in Coimbatore on August 26. It will be on till the first week of October. Open for students from Classes VIII to X of Coimbatore, Tirupur, Pollachi, Udumalpet and the Nilgiris, the preliminaries consist of a written test for 20 minutes. Top 10 teams will be selected for the next audio-visual round. Top six teams from that round will be called for the on-stage city finals to be held at the Corporation Kalaiarangam here on October 15. Prizes for the city finals include a cash award of Rs.25,000. All finalists will be given merit certificates. The winners will represent regional finals in Chennai on October 23. The national finals will be held in Hyderabad. T.I.M.E will make arrangement for transportation, boarding and lodging facilities for the teams selected to Chennai and Hyderabad.
