ARDSI Local Chapter Formed

Vazhikatti Mental Health Foundation, the non-profit wing of Vazhikatti Mental Health Centre and Research Institute, will form a support group. This group will act as the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) at Coimbatore.


The ARDSI chapter will organise seminars and workshops to create awareness on dementia. It also promotes support and counselling for caregivers and holds regular community awareness campaigns and medical camps. A meeting in this regard will be held on October 25 at the Vazhikatti Mental Health Centre at Peelamedu. The objective of the meeting will be to decide the activities of the Coimbatore chapter of the ARDSI. For details, contact: Dr.K.Selvaraj at 9842259062 or Shyam Viswanathan at 9786144444.
