Spiritual Awareness Programme

The Jothir Linga Divya Darshan programme organised by Prajapita Bahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya aims to spread spiritual awareness through meditation and spiritual classes. The six-day exhibition, which started here on September 18, has displayed 12 jothirlingas. “The replicas of the jothirlingas present in various parts of the country gives the visitors an experience of having visited the pilgrim places where they exist,” said B.K.Kalpana, Centre-in-charge, Prajapita Bahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Coimbatore Chapter.

God is believed to have appeared in the form of jothi in 12 parts of the country, where temples were built and jothirlingas worshipped. The exhibition also has a rajayoga stall, where people can buy pictures of jothirlingas. Volunteers explain to the visitors the importance of a value-based lifestyle and the need for spiritual introspection. A meditation room has also been set up. Audio and video shows on spiritual concepts are part of the exhibition. Chaitanya Devi Darshans are organised in the evening. Entry is free. It is on till September 23.
