Graduate Teachers Association Observed Fast
Over 100 teachers, belonging to the Federation of Graduate Teachers Association, observed a day long fast here to press their charter of demands. The agitators, including 50 women, demanded that the two years period of 2004-06 when they worked on coslidated salary be considered as service period. Other demands included guidelines and rules for the graduate teachers working in the middle schools, police sources said.
