Net4 Plans To Enter Coimbatore
Net4, a provider of IP communication services and solutions, is planning to augment its channel base by boosting its ISP business. Moreover, this Noida-based provider is also eyeing on an increase in its enterprise portfolio. The company is expanding its net point of presence center from around 7 points to 16 points in the next 18 months. Commenting on this development, Jasjit Sawhney, Chairman and CEO, Net4, said, "The new sites will include B-class cities like Ahmedabad, Coimbatore and Mohali.
We are also looking forward to appoint 13 more partners, which will take our partners' strength to 24." Earlier this year, the company had earmarked Rs. 14 cr investments over coming three years in expanding application and network related infrastructure. This includes adding more features to its vulnerability centers. The newly-revamped centers will now be able to correct the vulnerabilities itself, in other words trouble shoot the tasks. "Previously, our centers could only provide the Internet solution, while the service support was handled by third party.
With this addition, we will provide end-to-end solution to our customers along with monitoring and audit back up with service support," added Sawhney. The vendor also provides VoIP services to home and enterprise customer. These solutions support SIP protocol and ensure optimum voice quality. Its voice channel includes about 31 regional distributors, spread across 45 locations, selling calling cards and recharge coupons. Net4 recently entered into the security services business with its new offering - Net4 Secure. The Net4 Secure is an automated security auditing service for websites and online applications. For its web hosting services, the company has around 700 active partners in 14 locations, largely focused on the SMB space.
