New Police Station Building:

City Police Commissioner K.C. Mahali on Sunday laid the foundation for the construction of new buildings for the police stations at Selvapuram and on Big Bazaar Street. Deputy Commissioners Rajendran and Shanmugavelu were among the city police officials present.

Samarpanam:

The third ‘Samarpanam’ of Kalanjali will be held at the Nani Kalaiarangam on January 26 at 6 p.m. B.K.Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Coimbatore Chapter, will be the chief guest.

Seminar:
KMCH College of Pharmacy will hold a seminar on “Recent Advances in LC/MS” on January 28. G.J. Samathanam, Advisor/Scientist G, Department of Science and Technology, Union Ministry of Science and Technology, will be the chief guest.

Meet the CEO:
The Department of Management Studies, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, will organise a “Meet the CEO” programme on January 28. Mahendra Ramdas, president, Mahendra Pumps, and U.K.Ananthapadmanabhan, president, Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, will participate.

Training Programme:

A Brahmins marriage meeting will be organised at Gujarati Samaj, Mettupalayam Road, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on February 1.
