Kiran Bedi At GD Metric School

She was speaking at the Silver Jubilee Celebrations and Annual Day of the GD Matriculation Higher Secondary School. She said that in this age of Internet, the practice of writing letters had come down drastically but parents should write letters to their children. Such letters would be relished and cherished by the children and would remain as a guiding force. Children should be moulded in such a way that stray incidents in life should not remain stagnant in their memories but change their path.
She exhorted the parents and institutions to promote an entrepreneurship attitude in children. The future generation of the country should not remain job seekers. Children should be turned into job creators and providers and only such a trend could pave the way for a better and healthier India. Ms.Kiran Bedi also distributed prizes to students who had excelled in academics and co-curricular activities. Guests from Germany, Mrs.Gerda Maier Stoll and Hermann F. Weiler, Mrs.Chandra Gopal, Correspondent and Roshini Edward, Principal spoke.
