Accident:
Kuppathal (45), who is running a roadside tea shop on Palakkad Road near Thirumalayampalayam close to Transport Department check post, was crushed to death when a truck from Kerala proceeding towards Salem rammed into the hut that was the tea shop-cum-residence of the victim. The incident took place late on Sunday night.
