Monarch International School launches programmes
The school has about 70 students, including those from foreign countries. Mithun Chakraborty, chairman of the school and K.R. Maalathi, the chief executive officer, told reporters here on Sunday that the Cambridge programme would develop an international mindset among the students. EduSports and Hey Math! programmes would be introduced from Standard I to Plus-Two.
Mr. Chakraborty added that the school would establish libraries in five panchayat schools in the region this year. Further, the students would be involved in teaching English and life skills to those studying in the panchayat schools.
Saumil Majmudar, co-founder and chief executive officer of EduSports, said the aim was to inculcate team work and leadership qualities among students through sports. It would offer a structured sports curriculum, have workshops for parents and train the coaches.
