Trinethra will open Stores in Coimbatore & Tiruppur.

The AV Birla group has acquired the Hyderabad-based supermarket chain Trinethra Super Retail, including its fast-growing online shopping outfit, Fabmall.
The Trinethra group has annual revenues of about Rs 250 crore and has over 172 retail outlets spread across the four states of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.Primarily focussed on groceries, the fastest growing grocery retail Trinethra store is about 2,500 sq ft and located mainly in residential areas. The company has recently indicated its intention to grow into Tier-II cities, where most of the real estate development is expected to take place.
Trinethra is scheduled to open stores in cites such as Mysore, Coimbatore and Tirupur. The group also has warehouses in Hyderabad and in the states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala covering a total space of 50,000 sq ft at each centre, catering to its in-store requirements.The AV Birla group had recently announced its retail foray through Aditya Birla Retail.

More: Major Retailers like Subhiksha, FoodWorld (Spencer's Daily) are already present in Coimbatore. Bigbazaar also opened it's first store in Coimbatore. Others like Reliance Retail, Metro are also planning to open their shops at Coimbatore.
