Dist education students complaint

The Coimbatore Consumer Cause (CCC) has appealed to the Vice-Chancellor and Director of Distance Education of Bharatiar University to look into complaints from students of distance education who were not in receipt of their correspondence course materials text books on time.In a memorandum, the CCC secretary, K. Kathirmathiyon pointed out that even though the money was collected from them, the books were not provided on time.
Study materials had been provided just before examinations
In recent times the study materials had been provided just before examinations. In some cases, where the final seminar classes would be held on March 2, the materials had not reached the students yet. Students of M.B.A., M.C.A., M.Sc. (Mathematics) P.G.D.C.A, B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Com. were among those affected.Mr. Kathirmathiyon pointed out that even some of the communications were sent to the students only at the last minute.
