The highest salary on campus this year went to R Raji — a civil engineer and mother of two children.
A lateral student with nine years work experience, she was picked up by IL&FS for the highest offer made so far in Amrita School of Business with a package of Rs 9.05 lakh. The average CTC this year was Rs 5.20 lakh a year, up 25% from last year’s figures. “Focus on quality at the admission level itself, systematic industry academia interaction, 100% institute hand holding for summer placements and 24/7 faculty support in the residential campus are the drivers for our 25% YoY growth in average salary over the last two years,” Easwar Krishna Iyer, head (placement), said.
