BSNL's New Service
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Coimbatore has launched a new service, Prepaid Facility over Post paid Landline connections. A release from the Principal General Manager of BSNL said that to get this facility, BSNL landline customers have to purchase their account card for Rs. 112 (inclusive taxes) with talk value for Rs. 90 and valid for 60 days and attach their own telephone to the account for making prepaid calls over and above the post paid facility already available in their connection.The cards and recharge coupons are available at the customer service centres.
Other telephones to a maximum of eight numbers could also be attached to the card, the release said. Once the telephone is attached to the card, to make a call, customers would have to dial a seven digit code 1805233 before the called number.
