“Faculty from the university as well as the college will handle the classes. Examinations will also be conducted by our university. The students will come to Bharathiar University in the third year,” he said. The MoU also envisaged exchange of faculty to enable conduct of courses such as yoga, music and dance (Bharatanatyam) and Silambaatam in China, and Chinese forms of music and dance here. “Permission will be sought from the Chinese Embassy for implementation of the programmes. Also, permission will be sought from the Association of Indian Universities for eligibility certificate to recognise the degrees of the Chinese candidates who complete their course here in order to enable them get jobs,” the Vice-Chancellor said.
