Postal Dept Opend Outlet Franchises
The Department of Posts has opened postal franchise outlets at Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology and Kasinanjegoundenpudur, near G.N. Mills. A release from the department said such outlets were opened in places where full-fledged post offices could not be started. Coimbatore Division had franchise outlets at Kumaraguru College of Technology and Kasthurinaickenpalayam. The outlets sold postal stamps and accepted speed post articles, registered articles and money orders.
