The Kalapatti Branch Post Office has been upgraded into a Departmental Sub-Post Office. This will take effect on June 9 and the post office will continue to function in the present building. Speed Post service will be available at the post office.
Canara Bank:
The Saibaba Colony branch of Canara Bank will not be open on Sundays with effect from June 8 as the Coimbatore branch goes hi-tech with core banking service, a press release from the bank issued here said.
