Executive Director of Indian Bank, A. Subramanian, visited its branches in Pasur, Sathyamangalam and Vagarayampalayam recently to guide the branch officials on preparation of an “accurate list” of beneficiaries for the Agricultural Debt Waiver and Debt Relief Scheme. A release from the bank said that details of the scheme had been displayed in the Indian Bank branches for the benefit of its beneficiaries. The scheme envisaged visits by top executives of all commercial banks to rural and semi-urban branches to ensure efficient and speedy implementation in a time-bound manner before June 30.
