Speaking at the 83rd Founders’ Day celebration of the PSG & Sons’ Charities, he said that the new found attraction towards government jobs would also enable DRDO get professional manpower. “There are more than 400 industries partnering with the DRDO to take on certain projects for manufacturing. There is a lot of work that the DRDO has in store. We carry out very limited research. We leave that to the institutions,” Mr. Elangovan said.
Mr. Elangovan urged educational institutions to generate as many Intellectual Property Rights as possible. Distinguished alumni awards were given to Dr. G. Srinivasan, dentist, N.
