Upset over his younger brother getting married before him and settling down in life, a 35-year-old man committed suicide by setting himself ablaze at his house on the city outskirts, police said. Nagarathinam, a painter by profession and resident of Kuniyamuthur, doused himself with kerosene and set himself ablaze, two days ago, they said. Nagarathinam was dejected as despite many enquiries, no right alliance was coming to him. He was totally dejected, when his brother got married, police said. Relatives and neighbours admitted him to the Government hospital here and Nagarathinam succumbed to third degree burns last evening, police said.
