Youth Missing Parents Doubt May Be Murderd By His Friends
Parents and relatives of a 23-year old youth today appealed the district collector to trace him, who was suspected to have abducted and murdered by three of his friends a week ago.In a petition given to the collector, V Palanikumar, the parents said that their son, Santosh was taken by three friends a week ago and since then he had not returned home at Kannapan Nagar in Thudiyalur police station limits.
Based on a complaint by the parents, Thudiyalur police secured one of the friends, who said to have revealed that Santosh was allegedly murdered by them under the influence of liquor. The body was taken by the other two, he had told the police. Since two were absconding, police formed special teams and fanned out to various places in Tamil Nadu and also neighbouring Kerala to trace them and the body of the youth, police said. The parents appealed to Palanikumar to instruct police to expedite the investigations and find their on alive or dead.
