RTO - North Opend Spl Counter
Regional Transport Office (North) has opened special counters for remittance of annual tax for non-transport vehicles at the RTO (North) and at the Kavundampalayam Fire and Rescue Service station. The tax counters will remain open till April 10, 2008 from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on all days except March 30 and April 7. The motorist should bring valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate and insurance cover.
Similarly, owners of two-wheelers that are more than 15-years-old have to pay an additional Rs. 500 as green tax and that for four-wheelers is Rs. 1,000. To avoid inconvenience in paying tax at the last minute, motorists are requested to remit it before March 31.
