Honda Aviator At Road
The Honda Aviator, a fresher from the stables of Honda, was launched by Ranjith Govindaraj of Chandra Honda here recently. Introduced in the ninth Auto Expo in Delhi, the Aviator’s overall fit and finish is certainly eye catching. The inner panel under the handlebar is body coloured, the first on any scooter in India. The instrumentation houses a fuel gauge, a high beam indicator and a Speedo dial marked up to 120km/hr in a big, racy front and two separate green glass housings for tell tale lights. It has a light-weight 12-inch alloy wheels featuring a distinctive five-spoke pattern and also disc brakes for efficient braking. The engine offers characteristic Honda smoothness, refinement and peak power output of 7bhp, peak torque at 7.8nm, which is good enough for a top speed of 93km/hr. This winged radical shaped new scooter promises to have an overwhelming youth appeal.
