Agri Intex from Oct 2nd !

A four-day International Agricultural Trade Exhibition focussing on providing more value addition, among other things, to farmers and other stake-holders will be held here from October 2.The focus of this exhibition will be to provide more value addition and also modern technology to the farmers and other stakeholders, K Balasundaram, Chairman of the event, being organised by Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA), told reporters here on Wednesday.

Technologies like practising soil-less agriculture, agriculture without sunlight and also multi-colour rose cultivation would be some of the features of the 9th edition of Agri Intex.To enhance the trade show experience, about 40 companies from abroad have been invited to participate in the event, considering their innovative product range and also for their new business development potential in India, he said.

CODISSIA is planning to assist these special invitees for establishing long term business relationship through joint ventures, partnerships with existing association members, its president, Mr. K Ilango said.On display would be products like tractors, tillers, carriage vehicles and biological control systems.There would be over 250 stalls, with an expected 80,000 potential visitors from all over India and abroad, Mr. Balasundram said.
