TNAU Signs MoU

Sellamuthu, Director General, Indian Institute of Energy Management, Chennai (third right), in the city on Monday.Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Energy Management (IIEM), Chennai, here on Monday.According to a university release, the MoU was signed by A. Sampathrajan, Dean (Agricultural Engineering), TNAU, and P. Sellamuthu, Director General, IIEM.The scope of the MoU includes organising international and national level seminars / symposiums on renewable energy applications, status and future. It will also mobilise financial support for strengthening research and development programmes on energy management / conservation and sustainable resource development.
IIEM will also extend its cooperation to the Department of Bio-Energy, TNAU, for conduct of activities such as training, operation, repair and maintenance of farm equipment and machinery, energy equipment and electrical utilities, energy auditing and management aspects.
