Congress Activists Removed
Nearly 300 Youth Congress activists led by State President, Mayura Jayakumar were removed by the police when they attempted to take out a cycle rally in support of the nuclear deal and to explain its advantages.The activists were stopped at Perur by Deputy Superintendent of Police, K. Kumarasamy and a posse of police personnel and removed from the scene as they did not have police permission to take out the rally.
