Road Blockade At Nallampalayam
Irate residents of Nallampalayam near Kavundampalayam on Monday evening staged a road blockade at Nallampalayam as well as on Mettuppalayam Road demanding that the authorities take steps to make the roads motorable. The road blockade was triggered when a mini pipe-laden cargo truck suffered a breakdown owing to potholes on the Nallampalayam underbridge. Following assurances, the protest was withdrawn.
