TMMK Planned Rail Rako On 6th Dec
The Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) on Wednesday said it would stage "rail roko" agitations across Tamil Nadu on December 6, to protest the demolition of the Babri Masjid at Ayodhya on that day in 1992. The organisation intends to stage rail roko at 48 places in the state from 11 am to 1 pm, TMMK Joint Secretary, A Sadiq Ali told reporters here.The agitation would focus on four demands - rebuild the mosque and hand it over to Muslim community, expedite the submission of Liberhan commission inquiring into the demolition, punish all those involved in the act and conduct a detailed inquiry into all the bomb blast incidents which have occurred since the NDA regime was at the Centre. He also condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
