District Collector V. Palanikumar has announced that gram sabha meetings will be organised in all the gram panchayats on Monday. The meetings will discuss implementation of National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Anna Renaissance Scheme, development works besides getting ratification for the income and expenditure accounts and the income and expenditure budget for the ensuing fiscal. The other topics in the agenda will be preparatory arrangements for the second round of pulse polio immunisation, total sanitation programme and other issues raised by the panchayat president and those brought in with his approval.
