A joint press note said the university would offer two job-oriented, post-diploma courses for engineering students, diploma holders and professionals in tool and die design and manufacturing and product design and manufacturing. The university would also work with the association to organise seminars, and workshops. It would evolve special training programmes and courses. The institutions would share expertise, laboratory and instrumentation facilities. Educational programmes that would meet the industrial needs would be evolved.
