Aid for starting Physio unit !
District Collector P. Umanath on Wednesday handed over a cheque for Rs. 6.15 lakh to M. Nithyadevi for starting a physiotherapy unit under the Prime Minister’s Rozgar Yojana.
The Collector said that during 2008-2009, 100 persons were provided with financial aid worth Rs. 1045.58 lakh, of which Rs 391.75 lakh was provided as subsidy.
Those seeking financial assistance for self-employment could contact the District Industries Centre or Assistant Director, Khadi and Village Industries Board. District Industries Centre general manager S. Asokan and others took part.
