BU entered Mou with WCSC
Bharathiar University today entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Vision for Wisdom of the World Community Service Centre (WCSC), to inculcate knowledge and skill to improve the physical, mental, spiritual and social health of people to enable them lead a holistic life.Under the MOU, the Centre, founded by Vethathiri Maharishi, would impart knowledge through certificate, diploma, PG diploma and Masters degree programme in Yoga for Human excellence at its 57 Centres, a University press release said today.The University has made a new initiative for interaction w with industry-institution for a joint effort to update knowledge and skill for human excellence and resources development.
The MoU was signed by Dr P Thirumalvalavan, the university Registrar and S K M Maeilandam, WCSC President in the presence of University vice-chancellor, Dr G Thiruvasagam.
