Karunaya lifted the tropy

Karunaya had dominated right from the beginning and opened their account in the 14th minute. They, however, went on manning the defence till the final whistle. The defending champion Loyola, went into the attack in the last 20 minutes of the second half and restored parity. The teams were locked 1-1 at full time. However, in the tie-breaker, Karunya converted two kicks from the dreaded spot, whereas Loyola could score only one.The other highlight of the match was when the three time champion Kongu Arts College, Karur, has continued their winning note in Kabbadi (men) Category, defeating Layola College, 7-4.

Volleyball (Women) Tellicherry Govt, Brennen beat Ethiraj Collge, Chennai, 25 -21, 26-24.Basketball (Women) Tellicherry Govt, Bennen beat MOP Vaishnava Chennai by 63-41.
