Though formally launched on Tuesday, the centre started operations in the beginning of May.Currently, it has five batches, says D.Ranjit Kumar, Business Manager of the centre. “Communication skills are the greatest requirement among students as well as professionals in Coimbatore,” he adds. The group also plans to start training for call centres and other customer service industries in Coimbatore in the next few months. The Call Centre Certificate Programme would have three modules – call centre industry fundamentals, communications for call centre, and personality and professional etiquette. “We are also looking at partnering with corporates for recruitment, training and assessment,” Mr. Ranjit says. It was also planning to forge links with colleges and schools for starting specific programmes for students.
