Workshop On Vetiver
The School of Life Sciences of the Bharathiar University and the Coimbatore District Herbal and Tree Growers Association and Pasumai Vikatan will organise a workshop on vetiver at the university on June 19. According to a release, the workshop will focus on the uses and applications of vetiver, its planting techniques and marketing strategies.
Farmers and those interested can attend the workshop. Participants can register their names by sending an application along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 200. The DD should be drawn in favour of The Director, School of Life Sciences, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore – 641046. The application along with the DD should reach the university Head, Department of Environmental Sciences, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore – 641046 by June 14. Applications without registration fee will not be considered. Participation is limited to 300.
