Australian Education Fair
IMTP in association with VIEC Australia will organise an Australian Education Fair on July 31 at The Residency. According to a release from VIEC, nearly 13 universities and colleges will be participating. Some of them are the University of Western Australia, Macquarie, UTS, JCU, QUT, UWS, Deakin, USQ, Australian School of Tourism and Hotel Management, Holmes Institute, the release says. The courses offered for bachelors and masters programmes for the February 2009 intake are in engineering , Information Technology, Computer Science, petroleum engineering, bio-tech, agriculture, banking and finance, aviation and pilot training, physiotherapy, nursing, hotel management, accounting, law, MBA, etc.
VIEC is the authorised e-Visa consultant of the Australian High Commission in India. British Council will have an IELTS desk at the fair. It is open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Students can register free of cost to attend the interviews. They should bring along their mark sheets for the interview. Registration can also be done at the IMTP-VIEC office at 39, Anusham Towers, 100 Feet Road, Gandhipuram. For details, call 3208090.
