SIET And BSNL Inks MoU
Sri Sakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for “a cooperative and collaborative working relationship”. According to a release from the college, the MoU was signed by A. Shajahan, Principal General Manager, BSNL, Coimbatore, and S. Thangavelu, Chairman of SIET.
In this effect, BSNL would share the knowledge resources with SIET through resource persons from BSNL in technical seminars, conferences, workshops, etc., that would be held in the college. Students would also be provided in-plant training on the BSNL premises for the purpose of technical skill updating. BSNL would also impart training to students on basics of telecommunications in areas of switching, transmission, etc. Also, regular training programmes to enhance the technical knowledge of students would be conducted by the company.
