An abandoned car on the premises of city railway station created some tense moments on Tuesday afternoon after a call was received at the station that a bomb would explode, railway police sources said. Police had beefed up security there and were carrying out intensive checking and screening of passengers and luggage when the presence of the abandoned car triggered panic. Police after a thorough search found no explosives inside. Police are trying to trace the car owner.
