M.Sc Nursing Course In Oncology & Cardiology
As part of it Silver Jubilee celebrations, the Institute of Nursing, run by G K Naidu Charity Trust for Education and Medical Relief here, is starting an M.Sc Nursing course in oncology and cardiology. The institute had already applied for the licence and the course was expected to commence by June, Lalitha, Joint Medical Director, and Jaeny Kemp, Principal of the Institute, told reporters here today.Started in 1984, so far 432 nurses hae graduated from the Institute, and placed globally and there was a huge demand for nurses across the World, Lalitha said. As part of the jubiless celebration, the institute would come out with a souvenir 'Diya,' with liberal spread of articles by the students, alumni and faculty, Kemp said. It would also conduct a sports meet for all the nursing institutions in and around Coimbatore, numbering around 55, she said.
