National Best Centre Award For TNAU
The All India Coordinated Research Programme on Weed Control (AICRP-WC) in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has been presented the National Best Centre award for the year 2007-08. Presented at the Biennial Workshop of AICRP-WC at Patna
The award,instituted by National Research Centre for Weed Science, Jabalpur, a constituent organisation of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, was presented at the Biennial Workshop of AICRP-WC at Patna, in February last week, a TNAU release said here Thursday.The award, carrying a citation, was in recognition of its contribution on weed survey and surveillance on the invasive noxious weeds in different agro-ecosystems of Tamil Nadu.
